A couple of things I've been reading:

First, Schaeffer's Research. It's a well respected stock market research company. They're basically trend followers. The medium/long term trends are up - so they're generally bullish. (U.S. centric)

Next, a bit of bearish information - short interest is tending to increase on high dividend stocks. (U.S. centric)
