As far as gold goes we had a lot of irrational numpties charging in on Thursday when everyone else was selling and giving some of the stocks a real push.

Sadly I'm the suspicious type and it looks to me as if all of these newbies are going to get shaken out of their position over the next 2 or 3 days with the charts and sentiment looking to push lower.

I keep scratching my head trying to work out another way of getting a quid at the moment ,but for me there's still a good chance of getting set there if it pushes back nearer the 1220 area ,maybe 1200.

I know it can push lower still for sure but I'm favoring the view that we're in a consolidation phase atm with potential upside at least greater than potential downside
