Three points for you Fleta.

All of my posts get lots of thumbs down ,I think in terms of on ignore I'm the most despised poster on HC,it's not you so no need to feel persecuted.

Secondly I was referring to broad predictions of market direction where the forecaster talks up some catastrophic event or extreme bullishness ,or gold going to the moon ,or whatever,such as the forecast we were talking about. Of course everyone uses predictive tools every time they buy a stock ,and short term moves in market direction .I'm not completely brain dead

Thirdly I'd be very surprised if anyone who posts here thumbs down anyone ,I can't ever remember doing it ,but I do see from time to time a regular disappearance of thumbs here so you can draw whatever conclusion you like from that.

Now why don't you post here more often ,there's nothing I like better than a good argument ,they've been a bit thin on the ground lately
