DG and Red. Thankyou for all your inputs which I enjoy reading. On this options subject, I agree with Red. The option volume on exercise day is not reflective of the trend advancing, it is reflective of the trend that has advanced already. Therefore you would need to distribute this over the spot month period. A majority of this will be incorporated in volume via market makers remaining delta neutral throughout the spot month.
