Redbacka, agree the VIX "should" be higher. The fact that it is not higher is a signal that the market is not about to fall over yet. Expect a break of the wedge to the downside to occur this week and watch the indexes put in a low (most probably Tuesday or Wednesday) and give us all a fantastic Santa rally.
Lots of great opportunites look about to present themselves this week. Long commodities, indices, short US dollar and US treasuries. Just wait for the early week selloff into low.
