I've always found Ex that if you're totally out or totally in the market , you're judgement's never that good to get the direction or timing of the market right to justify your absolute stance . Plus it does your head in putting that sort of pressure on .Sure , if the market goes through the gurgler then you're probably better off not in anything ,but it doesn't cost that much to have a little insurance just in case you've got it wrong .

If anyone's good enough to know when to be all in or all out then good luck to them .I always prefer to be holding some stock ,even if my predominant holding is cash
