I travel overseas and around Australia including areas with no reception. I use internet connection at Hotels and sometimes purchase a USB local sim for cost...But I find my touch screen phone with 20 min delay is enough when I travel...I just make sure my trades are NOT that critical that I need to be on the screen and I choose to use a Broker who calls me....
It is important to have a strong relationship with your broker...just don't listen to his advice...lol
only costs me $12 an option trade more to use a broker
Before I travel, I just let him know and give him instructions as to when to pull the trigger either way...
With options, you can't put a stop loss in place so pretty important to keep an eye on whats going on..
The most important thing is BUILD SANDCASTLES....
