"the interesting question is why are we rallying?"

because the world is slowly starting to realize that nothing has intrinsic value other than that which we ascribe to it, and that everything else is just one big cosmic dance in which we make our own rules as we go along.

anyone who thinks that the world needs to go crashing back to the 1940s in order to restore some sort of fundamental order and truth to the system has failed to come to grips with the true nature of the beast.

chris ford your response to volt about the fib sequence was fantastic. i would also like to add something to that.

why does it work? because we make it work.

just like all oranges are orange, and "i" is the square root of minus 1, everything we perceive will always obey our own definitions . it is all about the writer and their frame of reference.

so why are we rallying? because of evolution.
