It seems we are lost without BiggDaddy. Pisces has done a bang up job of stepping up to the plate. I thought as no one else was stepping up I would open the Zoomba lounge with...... a poem :
T’was The Week Before Christmas
Twas the week before Christmas, things couldn’t be worse cause nothing was stirring, not a stock not a bourse. My stock charts were sorted and studied with care, But there wasn’t one rally to be found anywhere.
So I went to Hotcopper to look for some tips, I just wanted one trade, a few cents, a few pips. I thought I would go have a look see at PEN, But the posters from there were all fighting again.
With a shake of my head and a roll of my eyes I took a few breaths and let out some sighs. Then I snuck out of there so quiet and discreet, and I left that whole mess for Bluesdog or Tweets.
Then I thought of the zoomba, I knew where I’d go I went to the thread that they call X-J-O. As I walked in the door I saw Martis no less Who greeted me with “good luck and God bless”.
There were chartists and traders and gamblers in strife, There was Pisces with pics of his kids and his wife. There was Maxi and Mongo and sck and Voltaire, Big Daddy and Funky and Paddington Bear
Now each had a chart with its peaks and its valleys And each had ideas on declines and on rallies Each had their thoughts but none could agree So their opinions became so confusing for me.
I told them my plight, I just wanted one win, Was it wise to be out or should I be in ?? Did they know of a stock I could buy for a ride, Or was there’s more chance that there could be a slide.
Voltaire finally spoke and he said with a frown If this market’s not up then it’s sure to be down. And Martis (who’s back ‘cause he said he’s behave) Spoke with excitement of the coming C wave.
Stockplaya replied and he scoffed and he mocked He said “Martis is wrong, he’ll surely be shocked”. And Paddington said with a contrary grin, “You know if you’re out I’ll make sure that I’m in”.
There’s bulls and there’s bears and opinions that vary Some look to the stars and some are contrary As I heard them all out I was left in a spin, I just wanted one stock, I just wanted one win.
Then finally the night had come to a close And I was no wiser ‘cause nobody knows. We don’t know the end before it’s begun, But that’s why we trade, that’s all part of the fun
and I’ve learnt that there’s more than just winning a trade, There’s also my comrades and the friends that I’ve made One thing left to say as I turn out the light, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
