Thanks for posting that very extensive and informative aricle Ex .Three observations I can make .Firstly that's a complete misconception that people are doing their dough in gold stocks,I can assure you small fortunes have been made since the GFC the latest shakeout notwithstanding .Granted the latecomers have been burnt . Secondly the bigger the shakeout the higher it's going to go ,as the author so succinctly illustrates there are a lot of very profitable goldminers around ,most of them are awash with cash .Thirdly it's not a game to play if you are faint hearted because the gyrations in the gold price can greatly affect the SP of the miners warranted or not ,and those gyrations often arrive unexpectedly .Personally it's a game that I'm happy to play though right now it does look rather silly .
