I agree it looks rosy but little to do with the Dow as has been evident for the last 6 months. All about the dollar IMO. Dollar falls many things happen:
1. Our miners sell in US dollars so they earn more.
2. Our manufacturers earn more and face less competition.
3. Our farmers earn more because they too sell in US dollar valued markets.
4. Our retail faces less competition.
5. Tourism has a chance.
6. Stocks are cheaper for foreigners so they invest here.... particularly given the ALP are finished.
The only losers are the consumer and the traveller.
Dollar falls = shares gain.
