I am having a lot of difficulty understanding what the latest decision really means for the markets. It has some positive elments (at last for the short term), but the extent of the support to the banking system and government bond purchases are unclear.

Given that US firms are beginning to report some challenges ahead of their next quarterly reporting period, and that China has yet to really stimulate its economy, I can not see too much upward movement in the market for medium/long term speculators like me.
