Yes - looking at the chart - shorting CBA is a bit odd.
Short interest currently in the Four biggies:
ANZ - 0.27%
CBA - 2.1%
NAB - 0.7%
Westpac - 1.89%
The big time shorters usually take action on the basis of fundamental analysis not charts. So the analysts are seeing something in CBA and Westpac which is not showing up in the other two banks.
ANZ, on the basis of the short interest, is the best bet of the Four.
