Loved "Shawshank", haven't seen "We are Marshall", so will check that out.

I guess we are aging when quality overrides coarse humour and repetitive themes.

I'm sure we all appreciate a mix of styles, some heavy and some light, and each to their own.

Here's a funny thing. When I started school, my first girl friend whisked me off to the local library to a darkened room where the librarian read a dozen of us Blinky Bill, once a week. I was captivated and so I told my parents I wanted the book for Xmas and got it and read it. The first book I read.

Well the missus just bought me the complete works of Blinky Bill for my birthday, lol, and can't wait to read it to the grandchildren.

Of course I have the Winnie the Pooh book to alternate with. (OK, The House at Pooh Corner)
