Way to write a call option at a higher price than current price and use the proceeds to buy a put at a lower price than purchase.
I think I may have mentioned it to you before.
this is a good strategy to use in conjunction with a buy and hold in a high volatility environment to trade in 'some' of the potential upside and insure a substantial percentage of your potential downside.
works well for large bluechip portfolios...
