You misunderstood me.  I wasn't referring to moving average cross-overs.  Just gaps.

In mentioning 2-7-12-17 etc., I was suggesting you could start your time frames at something other than on the hour as some people do.  It could be 4-9-14 etc.

I have never suggested you weren't appreciated or wanted.

I just can't see the logic of short term gaps (gaps less than a day).  I thought you might have an idea of why they might be meaningful.
