Yep I can see your point but I'm from a different industry (electricity) and their are multiple regulators AEMO, AER & AEC and you definitely can't sue any of them. You can sue AEMO for breaking regulations but compensation is limited to the amount of money in the compensation fund which is normally $5m. AEMO breaks regulations all the time and nothing happens- they spend 6 months writing a report and saying how they're implement systems to stop it happening again. The AER broke a law a few years ago and nothing happened because they would have had to enforce action against themselves.
I agree with your comment about "2-bit legal information" but imagine if people came to hotcopper for 2-bit "255 days" information?
