Style Name: Starter Kit|Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
My husband loves gadgets of all types. I selected this product for him, because I thought he'd find the "magnet" interesting and motivating. Also, he might more carefully and completely apply the product.

I can find no evidence that the magnet has any effect. It responds to no metal in our house. Does it have an otherwise undetectable effect on the molecules in this cream? Who the heck knows for sure. According to business news reports, the company that developed the "magnet technology, OBJ, specializes in drug delivery and skincare using magnetized ingredients. Its “Magnetic Infuser” technology was recently used by Olay to launch a range of “Magnemask” products in China.

As for the ingredients, there is some evidence that pentapeptides boost collagen, and I found this information about the other touted ingredient, niacinimide:

""Millions of dollars are spent each year on cosmetics, medications and procedures to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines on the face, the most evident sign of aging skin. A team of Japanese dermatologists studied niacinamide's effectiveness on 30 women who had wrinkles in the eye area. Subjects received a 4 percent niacinamide cream on one side of their face and a topical with no nutrients on the other. In 64 percent of test participants, wrinkles in the eye area were reduced. The study, published in a 2008 edition of the "Journal of Dermatology," showed that only one person had a problem with the niacinamide cream, reporting "minimal irritation." The study concluded that the niacinamide cream was "well tolerated and may be an optional preparation" for wrinkle treatment.""

This product does not indicate the percentage strength of niacinamide.

I'm thinking that ANY facial cream my husband would apply regularly would help, but he seems to like this. Maybe it's the gadget.
