forgive me if I miss the point you make..I am finding my depth of knowledge is being increasingly challenged
we have seen a lot of wisdom on these threads I think your macro sentiment is very pertinent but can only be utilised by looking at the XAO index and our technology index strength as a comparitive... and then used as a filter in our usual swing trades support ema's...or as a cap in our swing trade ranges..So as far as capping Im not so sure or perhaps I dont see it as something we can readily calculate...
I have several swing trade oscilators that are not adaptive .to broader sentiment..so of little use....So we are in a 6 day swing and I have a software result suggest we enter short triggered for tomorrows open?.....not something I have back tested to any degree or can comment on with any confidence.....My Swing Trade techniques have given fairly broad results ...I will post a chart showing this dilemna...cheers
