I keep thinking Syrah Resources early entry into the graphite race. On 31st October 2011 the share price closed at 8 cents a share. On 31st May 2011 the price ended the day at $2.74 per share. So in 7 months there's a massive increase from 8 cents to $2.74. The share price is now $5.40 and it peaked at $5.87 in mid-2014 on rumours of a big takeover that never eventuated.
As a relatively early and seemingly unique entry in the new, hot field of the Internet of Things, it's nice to dream of a share price approaching $3 by the end of the current calendar year for XPE. However, based on what can and has occurred with some other speculative stocks, it may end up being a bit more substantial than a dream.
