You have summed it up correctly with investors on the sidelines , if there is a breakout on decent news and I mean a multi million dollar contract or buy out my personal belief is us sideliners will miss out on the initial surge , compare it to us pre ordering a Toyota Tarago and the holder to pre ordering a Porsche but if the news is what we have been waiting for I believe the Sp will run for 8-9 days so . Its all risk management and with this comes more modest returns and smaller losses.
I know some traders who constantly perform on pips or longer term but I have had to relegate myself to swing trading so as not to infringe to much on my business time
with this I found MACD my preferred technical indicator along with fundamentals sometimes Bollinger bands and commodity indexes. The rest of the time I have found Madmacs charts useful but still trying to grasp the the pitchfork indicator. Trader is quite good , calls his shots and follows through.
