A patent won't stop them from copying something. The court system here is so far from what we're used to in the West, no one's going to get prosecuted for ripping off another product. The Chinese look out for the Chinese. It's that simple. Look at Xiaomi- their packaging, in particular, is a straight up Apple rip-off. They're able to keep their costs so low because they don't spend a cent on design, they just lift things they like from other companies. Trust me, if there is value in the tech, they'll imitate it.

That's not to say that Xped won't do well here. I think they will. They've got the infrastructure, and they'll be one of the first out the gate. And, the big score here is Dr. Wenjun Sheng. Everything, absolutely everything, at all levels, runs on relationships here. He is the real asset here and, I believe, the key to Xped's success.
