Even without any news the holders and on-lookers at the time also will remember the bagger some got from buying in @ around 3 cents after the sell-off and having to wait only 3 weeks to double their money, so it works both ways and there wont be many who haven't learnt that throwing away shares lower than the current price so someone else with more patience can make money on them is not in their best interest, also baring in mind the SP actually rose more when there was no news than when there was news
