I think Telink is playing all sides, they will port HAP for their chips supported by HomeKit devices and ADRC for other devices. Question is what will manufacturers choose?
Telink sales guy: hey guys we have chip a (HomeKit supported with HAP ported) or we have b & c or x (XPED ADRC ported). One doesn't work with the other so you must make a choice based on supported protocols not to mention security is stronger in chip a/bc or whatever.
Meanwhile there is this race to develop a standard, who is winning the race so far?
