Good to see the Intel IoT Gateway getting a kickalong in the market place.
One of Intel's Premier IoT Solutions Alliance members (Adlink) announced last night "the release of three ADLINK IoT gateway models supporting Intel® IoT Gateway Technology"
Adlink is " a leading global provider of embedded building blocks, intelligent gateways and cloud/fog computing solutions that enable the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)".
The new models will "leverage Intel Gateway Technology to provide seamless connectivity between devices and the cloud, ensuring the interoperability of edge devices through an open architecture enabling rapid application and service, all to successfully equip new connected applications with minimum effort," said Roy Wan, general manager of ADLINK's Measurement and Automation Product Segment.

The way I understand it, ADRC'c function in providing seamless connectivity and interoperability between devices will complement this new interoperability between the devices and the cloud.
As we know, the ADRC porting to the Gateway has been successfully demonstrated. We just need Intel verification, which should be imminent.
We also know, from the 9 June ASX announcement, that "the Company expects upon verification of the ADRC end-to-end solution running on Moon Island gateway platform, further engagement to begin with Intel(R) customers and OEMs looking to expand their gateway offering with ADRC integration.
It appears that Adlink is likely to be one of these customers.
The business case for wide uptake of IoT is daily becoming more compelling.
