Thanks for posting that, growler1969. I reckon Chris Woods will be hanging around there, regardless.

A look through the sessions highlighted (to me, so a personal opinion only) sessions where XPE would / could be of interest to many of the attendees. For example:

16th Aug 1600-1700 Bringing the IOTs to life: Rapid Innovation using the Intel IOT Platform.

17th Aug 0930-1000 Interconnectedness of Everything

17th Aug 1100-1200 Intel's Connected Home Infrastructure

1100-1200 (different room) Accelerating Innovation with next generation Intel Atom Processor based Platform

1300-1500 Intel Quark Microcontroller Development Tools.

Anyway, it now makes sense why Chris Woods has put the XPE HQ in San Fransisco. It is a short one hour drive from Intel's Santa Clara offices and the chance to attend sessions like these will be invaluable to the contacts XPE can make with the movers and shakers of the IT world (just look at the attendee list).

I for one am more convinced than ever that Intel is the unnamed (as yet) chip manufacturer (as announced on 5th April 16) who is offering support to XPE. All starting to make sense, to me, and in my personal opinion only.
