The Intel iot gateway is more suited to the industrial market rather than a Philips lighting system. It's much larger and more powerful than the Philips Hue Bridge with alot more functions. Philips would never use it for a high volume consumer product. Maybe for a all in one home iot solution but certainly not for a cheap to manufacture home lighting system.
But agree that Telink iot chips with ADRC is a perfect fit for Philips.
