1. This is the "committed amount" between JCT and the channel partners. Hence, different from the pledge. IMO
2. Its my assumption only (as stated in my post) that the annual committed amount be treated as the initial up-front stock. Agreed that my assumption may be wrong as it may not be logical for a buyer to assume the whole annual committed amount at the initial month - unless it is part of the terms and conditions of the agreement between JCT and the channel partners.
3. Don't think they will make any further separate announcement if the orders for the 5 channel partners are as per the announcement made on 20 Dec 2016. Hopefully, an update with the Quarterly.
