Yes, I agree Qualcomm could end up as one of the chippies using ADRC. In my opinion, it probably does not matter who the chippies are just as long as a number of chippies are making XPE's chips.
XPE is moving towards commercialisation but the rest of the world is not standing still. One of XPE’s presentation’s showed information on the competition, one of which was Google(Nest), at that time they did not have a tick against ‘Open Source Technology’ or ‘Industry Competitive Pricing’, now Google(Nest) have released OpenThread and it is free.
