Being Chinese. .... I'll just say that written Chinese is the same, there is only one format but 2 types of styles: traditional and simplified characters. Mandarin and Cantonese refer to the spoken languages...but to be correct, Mandarin can be written in an acceptable format, but with Cantonese you'll have loads of characters that are not in the Chinese dictionary.
Make sense?
That said... all Chinese people can use the app unless there are specific voice features.
