Your experience is ok. I have used them all and can wholeheartedly say I disagree.
that being said, I can use them all with similar levels of efficiency due to my expertise, so when opting for my own sole trader bookkeeping business, I always just go with the cheapest option so I can retain all the recurring revenue I can.
its when you get to relative complexity and transaction volume where the time saved really adds up. Not so much a 1m revenue tiny business with a couple transactions a month and no invoicing.
