"unless they some how decide to rerun soil that has been processed already" ... fines and oversize have been stockpiled separately since 404 recovery (as per presentation.. page 8) ... so a quick wash at the new front-end and feed the big stuff through the XRT . Agree it adds to wet season options.
Increasing the top screen by 55% should recover (in all probability) some beauties of more regular shape. The larger finds that we fortunately recovered through the 32mm slots are clearly flaky in proportion. The 131ct found in the bulk sampling stage a couple of years ago should have set alarm bells ringing as to the potential for numerous large finds.
Yes Coxxy, a second DMS IMO set-up purely for oversize would alleviate a 'quantity vs quality' scenario. The focus has been on high BCM from the pit... 404 certainly changed that, and possibly blown the in-pit screening out of the water. The only benefit to pit screens would be to eliminate hauling fines (at great cost) to the plant.
