xstrata hasnt got the best of reputations within the industry. i consider them as opportunist thieves who would stab their own mother in the back to get what they want. they would screw over irn shareholders (as an example) as long as they get their desired result. i wouldnt trust them. having said that, they have x amount of development projects which they would consider as priority and corenrstone to their growth. Tampakan used to be one of these projects and i assume it still is. however, gfc, $5 billion capex new corporate goals may have changed all that.
