Xstrata will announce their intention in good time, they are probably doing due diligence as we speak, along with who ever else is interested in SDL...
What Hanlong has done by making an offer, is flush out others that were sitting back idle. Xstrata visited the SDL site i think over a year ago now, so they have not rushed into making a move on SDL, but now the pressure is on for them and anyone else interested to get their act together and come forward with their offers.
I would think that within a matter of a couple of weeks we might see a few enter the arena...then we will see who needs and wants this resource the most????
cheers and have a good weekend all
