The only logical outcome here, IMO, is for both sides to (eventually) play ball.
It's win-win.
The risk lies in the potential for either side to become greedy, arrogant, and irrational -- and botch the negotiations. (Does anybody actually get the sense that it's amateur hour??)
Business will be done.
