Xstrata has withdrawn its $30 billion pound bid for Anglo which could lead to it making a play for FLX.
An article in the AFR this week (sorry I dont know which day it was) highlighted Anglo's CEO's determination to make acquisitions (he was instrumental in putting BHP and Billtion together when he worked for BHP)
Xstrata has a mine adjacent to Moolarben where a large amount of synergies could be extracted.
Whilst FLX can not actively seek out Xstrata, it will interesting to see what Xstrata does.
Lets hope that a Xstrata will come up with a more realistic bid for FLX.
