The one constant is that the platinum in the ground is still there. It will be there tomorrow and in a years time.At $880 there is no deal. The BFS would not be favorable enough for Xstrata. I do not believe that prices will stay there but we have to await a clearer picture on China. Platinum is driven by cars.....pun intended.... and the emerging market for cars is China, China and China.

The market is screaming that the deal is on delay. My guess at least a year. BUT they have the ground and the partner in Genorah and possibly Xstrata.

I am more worried that at these levels NKP will get taken out at fireside prices. I owned MIM and Norths and what a steal they turned out to be.
