Hi stagman
thanks for being polite and honest
I can assure you I am not looking for a re-entry. I am also not here to say 'i told you so'. I only point to the fact that I have been consistently negative on NKP to remove any thoughts that I am suddenly (after recent events) acting like I know everything. I don't know everything and didn't predict the recent events.
I am only posting because I think it will help people become wiser investors by reading different views.
Funnily after being abused by one poster (and seeing others giving the abuse thumbs up) I asked myself why I bother to post, and indeed i do see what I am doing as a noble cause.
What happens to NKP has no effect on me, my money is tied up in other things and I made good returns when I was trading nkp.
The fact is, I believe most bloggers here to be ordinary people who are up against the big boys in the world of finance and it is easy for me to imagine myself (when I was younger), or my friends being bloggers who are pro NKP. I therefore write with this in mind, that I am simply trying to give thoughts that will help one of my mates out.
I am completely honest in my posts and ultimately post because i have a political agenda to try and help the little guy gain power through knowledge, understanding and reason. I think hot copper should be commended for its role in this.
what happens to NKP doesn't effect me, but i imagine every blogger here is someone who is good to his or her friends and loved ones and is in general a good person (even if some bloggers seem to be closed minded in some cases- and even though closed minded can have broader negative consequences). I don't like the idea of good people suffering simply for wanting more in life.
On the other hand, when bloggers are arrogant, rude and derisive, I really have no sympathy for them. I am no saint. just a guy doing what i think is a good thing to do, and mostly deriving satisfaction from it.
a lot of posts demonstrate that there are people with very strong emotional buy-in on the stock and such emotions are understandable yet dangerous. It is important for people to realise that others with opposing views on NKP are not dismissing the hopes for a better life that NKP holders have, they are not saying that NKP holders are wrong people.
I am saying that NKP holders are quite possibly wrong to have invested in NKP.
