People will think at the time what is the best financial deal for me. If the shares workout more than cash. Then they can apply for almost their total holding in shares in many cases being scaled back . Then at a later date they can choose to sell the newly acquired TLW shares boosting their gain still further. As such I would expect the shares portion of the takeover bid to be well oversubscribed. Many holders reside overseas so they will not worry about taking London based TLW shares. Where as the Aussie holders might be reluctant at first but see sense with time
