If you wanted to know what they've been doing for the last month perhaps you should have attended the AGM to find out. You could always have read PerthisOK9's report https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/xtc-general-discussion.6626128/page-1281?post_id=65047701 to find out that

"VES results are progressing well and are currently being thoroughly analysed by their in country JORC qualified persons and lithium brine geologists"

It's not the board producing the VES report - it's in the hands of the experts, so I don't know what you expect them to do. Shareholder funds and the future of the company are at stake based on its contents, do you want them to ask for it to be hurried up? Thorough and careful due diligence is the way you avoid expensive mistakes
