Could be right Cat
With a SPP the moneymen get diddly squat; if it is now up for grabs the placing brokers get a slice. I don’t want to be cynical, and break 30 years of nice behaviour, but could the dicking around .006, .0055 and the continuous after trade cr#p going on, have been an attempt to rattle the retail trade to maximise the number left in the trough?
The original SPP document talked about ‘scaling back’ in a situation where it was oversubscribed and then was quite ambiguous about what was to happen about any under subscription. Being a holder who just wants to see it run I just shut up.
