The people of El Penon village are really worried because they saw their Salar go from nothing to a huge 3.5 billion USD in a very short time, and now it's all falling apart. At one point, someone in the village even thought it could become the next Dubai. It's sad to see the residents' dreams being shattered, especially since they don't have a reliable electricity supply. Lake did open an office there and hired some locals, but we don't know if it will last because investors don't trust KACHI to stick around.
