Wow. 2 bags in 2 months.

Took a bit more off the table in accordance to my strategy of getting to a free carry.

I buy shares in a company I think has prospects to go 2-3 times in the space of a few years, and I buy in multiples of 625 shares.

For each set of 625 shares I buy, I sell 125 when the price goes up 25% ($1.25 for a $1 reference); sell 100 when it goes up the next 25% ($1.56), sell another 80 when it rises another 25% ($1.95) and 64 when it hits the next 25% increment ($2.44). At that point I have 256 shares left and have recouped all my initial investment (before brokerage and CGT). Every sale reduces the average buy in price.

I have built a free carry in NST and FAR with this technique, and am on the way for CVN, LYC, and ARU.

Next sale for XTE is at $1.08, then I will be free carried. My average buy in is now down to about 28c.
