1) They issued shares to Bergen for funds to pay the loan default. How many is the question?
2) Bergen must give permission to use more funds and they are deep already with XTV so I doubt more funds would be given to limit Bergen's risk to XTV. Hence, they must use equity finance. Bergen wouldn't allow more debt holders to be in the company as they want control. Don't be naive.
3) The situation is terrible and shareholders will be forced to take every action Bergen wants or Bergen would take the company into voluntary administration where shareholders would be left with nothing.
