Well as if I didn't already have a negative enough opinion of this options issue debacle...the shares I sold on ex-date somehow had the rights associated with them transferred to the buyer, and so I was left with an entitlement much lower than it should have been. Had to have conversations with the share registry, and then my broker, and end result is the broker is going to cover the extra cost of buying the options I should have been entitled to, on market. What a stuff up! Somehow the usual 3 day settlement period turned into 2. This company has a stink about it that just makes me not even want to buy back the stock I sold, despite it now being a fair bit cheaper
