I'll explain for Valen,

If you click that little cross in the top corner of the ad at the bottom of your screen, it gives yo the option of "stop seeing this ad".

When you click stop seeing this add, it asks why, and you can click "Ad covered content".

Then it says "We'll try not to show that ad again". Ad closed by Google.

Then 10 secs later, the same ad pops up.

I've done this dozens of times. Wonder what happens if hundreds of people do this dozens of times? Probably nothing I guess.
