Agree it was a very confusing halt.
Without sounding negative, all I can think is the offer was very close to being finalised, and at last minute the Chinese lowered the price.
Or alternatively, HAW management were using this to pump the SP so that LCY offer would neef to be raised. Although I doubt the latter as it is highly illegal.
