Ya comment on today's results on STO

No surprises there. It is also the deepest 'vertical' oil interval with Light Oil tested on the NW Shelf with decent flow rates from 1 section, i.e 3999-4015m depth. Gross oil column is 53m thick. Which is also why the Caley Sands have their insitu pressure regime intact, hence the high decent flowrates of 11100 BOPD & 21 MMcfd with minimal pressure drawdown. STO should have factored in a shrinkage factor for the associated gas with the Oil which will help with gas-flooding for the Development wells.

Hope they can complete the 3Dseis data & drill a few more of the Prospects in the area. BHP's Buffalo-1 (in the Timor sea) had the record for the highest flowrate of 11790 bopd in Sept 1996 from 3307-3335m (acquifer drive). Dorado should b gas-flooded to keep the pressure intact via gas injector's in my view.

KG mentioned in their recent webcast on the company website during the Q&A session that 50k Bopd rates modelled for this field was conservative, so will be interesting to see how many development wells they choose to drill, FID costs, Leased FPSO with high fluid-gas handling capacity. Dont think their owned FPSO Ningaloo Vision at Coniston will do, as it is small. Anyways all that should b the topic of interest in their Annual Investor Briefing & upcoming Qtrly reports. Overall it's a great result.
