    I'm not sure how it works for the Japanese utilities, but given that 1 tonne of 6000K produces ~2000KWh energy, and cost is A$550 ex Australia, their power generators are likely to have a raw material cost ~ A$0.30/kwh. That's higher than their retail electricity price ~A$0.26.

    If this is true the long term viability for NEWC6000K should be questioned by investors. API5 5500K @ A$300 appears a saner, more sustainable LT proposition, considering their energy difference is only 10% and historically priced proportionally to NEWC6000.
