    not necessarily, my understanding is the rule is that 75% of all shares remaining must be pruchased under the original offer to be used to set price for compulsory acquisition. Did gina acquire most of atlas in her offer that was then applied to all?
    For yanzhou to do same theyd have to acquire 75% of the remaining 30% they dont currently own (not exact sure someone will correct) so need 92.5% ownership to do that. Thats ignoring firb and all the other hurdles they have to jump... without 75% then independent price review is applied leading to even more faff. For minimal gain when they already control the company... think any extra money they have will be directed towards increasing chinese coal output necause i assume ccp will be directing them to and that trumps everything.

    seems highly, highly unlikely, but each to their own level of risk tolerance.
